lyrics
Never mind I should have known
Next time I should let go
The feelings come and the feelings go
You fall asleep faster when you're sleeping alone
The ticks from clock I can hear every one
And the days drag on
I spent 40 years in the desert
It took me so long to remember
Now my body’s not young but my soul’s still restless
And I’ll never stop, never stop
I’ve been wandering in the wilderness
All alone without a compass
But my heart’s still beating like I’m 8 years old
And I’ll never stop, never stop
Never mind I’m moving on
This time I’ll follow the sun
The feelings came the feelings went
The faster I run the further it gets
The ticks from the clock
Fade into night
And the stars align
I spent 40 years in the desert
It took me so long to remember
Now my body’s not young but my soul’s still restless
And I’ll never stop, never stop
I’ve been wandering in the wilderness
All alone without a compass
But my heart’s still beating like I’m 8 years old
And I’ll never stop, never stop
One foot in front of the other
The treasure in sight
Trusting the path before me
Second star to the right
I spent 40 years in that desert
It took me too long to remember
Now my body’s not young but my soul’s still restless
And I’ll never stop, never stop
40 years in the desert
It took me so long to remember
Now my body’s not young but my soul’s still restless
And I’ll never stop, never stop
I’ve been wandering in the wilderness
All alone without a compass
But my heart’s still beating like I’m 8 years old
And I’ll never stop, never stop

So glad to hear the Sprinkle Brothers making music together again! I still remember getting into my '78 Monte Carlo in 1993 and putting newly-bought "mindsize" into my CD player for the first time in Cape May Court House, NJ after leaving the bookstore with it. Fantastic EP and I look forward to more! Michael Gross
